Volunteering

APS hosts work experience placements and volunteer opportunities in conjunction with Heritage Lincolnshire. These opportunities are largely office based, although fieldwork experience can be arranged from time to time. Occasionally we also offer paid traineeship schemes; these will be advertised on our Jobs & careers page.

Opportunities are sometimes available for volunteers on Community Projects which will be advertised on our Get involved section.

Volunteers are essential to the work of our organisation which offers training and support to people who would like to become actively involved. As recognition of our work with volunteers, APS (along with Heritage Lincolnshire) have gained Investors in Volunteering accreditation, just one of our professional Accreditations and memberships.

Short, medium and long term opportunities are available and Heritage Lincolnshire works with people with a broad range of backgrounds, experiences and abilities. Placements are also available for young people seeking heritage related work experience.
