Alex Beeby BA (Hons), MA, ACIfA, Senior Project Officer
Alex studied Archaeology at undergraduate level before going on to read for an MA in Roman archaeology at the University of Leicester, graduating in 2004. His dissertation focussed on the distribution of pottery, coins and other traded materials to military sites in 4th century Britain.
An experienced field archaeologist, Alex joined APS in 2009 as a trainee ceramic specialist funded by a training bursary from the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists and has remained with the organisation since completion. Alex carries out assessment and analysis of a wide range of ceramic assemblages. He works on material from across the country and has a particular interest in the pottery of the Late Roman period. Alex also has a strong interest in outreach work and teaches archaeology adult education courses.< team profiles
